Get to Know Mummys Mini Monster
Hello everyone, I'm Annie the mummy and the mind behind the brand. I have two beautiful boys who are my world and reasoning behind Mummys Mini Monster. In 2020 when i was on maternity with Ronan it drove me crazy that when a product included the word sensory the price automatically shot up. So the early years practitioner in me set to work creating sensory play items and resources, that you guys could access at an affordable price, so you too could enjoy sensory play at home. This is when Mummys Mini Monsters Instagram was born and I started sharing my play sets up and products on there for other mums, dads and carers to get inspiration and ideas. This then grew and i created an Etsy shop where our kits and products can be purchased. You can also shop on here now too, just click the shop button at the top of the page.
In 2022 i took the jump in to our community and started taking part in stalls which is great fun and gave me the chance to talk to local families about the benefits of sensory play to children of all ages and helped spread the sensory play bug into more homes. Some of the feedback i did receive though went a little like this; "my litttle one would love that but i couldn't deal with the mess at home", this stuck with me and like a little seed it began to grow.
So Fast forward to 2023 after finding out we was expecting our second little boy Phoenix, i decided it was time to expand on what Mummys Mini Monster has to offer and branch out into offering Messy play sessions that are relaxed but fun and beneficial to development, while giving you the chance to meet local parents and carers. If you like me have more than one child you may have realised there isn't many classes out there that you can take them both along to or that they both can engage in. That's why i have tailored my classes for children from 6 months up to 5 years. Each class will be ran by myself who will have my youngest with me exploring our themed tuff trays which have a different theme each week, inspired by a book. To find more out about our Messy play sessions, press the mess play page at the top of the screen.
